I was lucky enough to photograph Corrie and David’s wedding in 2013!
Since then these two spent years dreaming and hoping for this tiny little miracle and now have a lifetime to cherish her. Congratulations again to Corrie and David on your precious baby girl, she is just beautiful xo
So many of us want to know the secret of a long and happy marriage! After spending an afternoon with this gorgeous bunch who were celebrating 50 whole years since Liz and Richard said ‘I do’ – it’s clear to me that connection to family and a great sense of humour is a pretty good indication!
Plus it was all kinds of exciting going back to this beautiful family property on Noosa North Shore. This amazing setting is also where I photographed daughter Amy’s marriage to Tyson nearly 6 years ago.
The Wright family travelled from near and far to celebrate Wayne’s 70th birthday at Mooloolaba – what better idea to honour a man so proud of his family than to create some special portraits to remember the occasion by? Even dark clouds, wild waves and the threat of rain couldn’t stop the smiles, giggles, cuddles and fun we had in creating these photos. Thank you Wright for family for having me along to celebrate with you!
Honestly – the photoshoots I get most excited about follow the journey from pregnancy to baby. I loved, loved working with the Coyle family – first anticipating their new baby and then welcoming little (but big) Tyrone to the world.
Steve wrote me the loveliest email after they received their portraits and with his permission I share it at the bottom of this post 🙂
Naoko and myself would like to say a big thank you for our wonderful photos. We are very happy with the results. The difficult part is now trying to choose our favourites to proudly display at home. I was particularly blown away with the silhouette style you took of Naoko and many of the pictures with Tyrone. If there is any opportunity to use your services once more we will not hesitate to book you again and of course I am more than happy to recommend you to others seeking amazing, quality photos with fantastic service. Thank you again Anna.

Storms had been threatening to wash out this garden wedding all week and Ash is very certain her Dad (who is sadly no longer with us) was behind the rain stopping for their amazing ceremony at House of Laurels Maleny. The Harley pictured below was her fathers and it was a really special to see it included on the day.
I have to say too that I loved photographing this couple and their bridal party – I’m not sure I’ve ever met a bunch of such well-organised yet fun people at the same time! It’s a testament to the wonderful couple Ash and Ant are, that they have surrounded themselves with this group and I’m happy to count them as friends of my own.
We got some amazing photos in right before the storm hit and it was time for Ash and Ant to head to their reception – so incredibly blessed!
Congratulations to both of you – I was honoured to photograph your family when Jaxon was born and I am so happy to have been there for your wedding too – thank you for continuing the story with me xo
This sweet little happy boy was a dream to photograph and so very loved by his Mum Laura and Dad Grant 🙂
When Nikki made her original booking with me her beautiful dog Oz had other ideas and became unwell. Fast-forward nearly a year he has made a full recovery and Nikki has a beautiful bump to show off – a brother on the way for Princess Lily. Lily is just beautiful and was quite convinced this photoshoot was all about her and as she will be the only child for just a short while longer it was so fantastic focussing on the gorgeous relationship she has with her Mum and Oz. Plus what a shining star this aspiring gymnast is! Josh and Nikki couldn’t be more in love or happier and I’m so excited for the next chapter in their story when baby makes five!
“Marriage is not what everyone thinks it is. It’s not waking up early every morning to make breakfast and eat together. It’s not cuddling in bed together until both of you peacefully fall asleep. It’s not a clean home and a homemade meal every day. It’s someone who steals all the covers. It’s slammed doors and a few harsh words, fights and the silent treatment, it’s wondering if you’ve made the right decision.
It is, despite all of those things, the one thing you look forward to every day.
It’s coming home to the same person everyday that you know loves and cares about you. It’s laughing about the one time you accidentally did something stupid.
It’s about eating the cheapest and easiest meal you can make and sitting down together at 10pm to eat because you both had a crazy day. It’s when you have an emotional breakdown and your love lays with you and holds you and tells you everything is going to be okay, and you believe them. It’s when “Netflix and chill” literally means you watch Netflix and hang out. It’s about still loving someone even though they make you absolutely insane.
Living with the person you love it’s not perfect and it’s hard, but it’s amazing and comforting and the best thing you’ll ever experience.”
Meeting as housemates, falling in love, marriage, a house, a dog that’s so darn happy he looks like he has no ears and and now a beautiful baby girl – this is the Chelsea and Luke experience 🙂
This lil fella is just divine and very much doted on by Mummy, Daddy and his fur-siblings! I just can’t get over how many adorable expressions he has!
